This design is inspired by kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing pieces of broken pottery with gold-dusted lacquer. The design is made using leftover and scrap clay from other projects in an effort to minimize waste in my production process.

P R O C E S S Polymer clay earrings are truly a labor of love. My earrings are handmade from start to finish, including mixing colors, cutting, baking, embedding studs, sanding, drilling, and assembly. These steps unfold over the course of several hours or even days.
While I try my best to eliminate scratches, bubbles, and other small blemishes, it is impossible to make a completely "perfect" earring by hand. This is part of what makes each pair unique -- just like you.
